About Spreety TV Online

SpreeBot Spreety is a free guide to watch TV shows online, online movies, news, sports, and more. The core focus of Spreety is on high production quality U.S.A. TV online that is presented with a positive Internet experience.

Spreety links to ABC for ABC shows, CBS for CBS shows, etc., for the highest quality, legal experience. While Spreety is free, some of the links are marked to indicate pay-for services.

For most, Spreety is a useful way to catch a missed TV episode or revisit an old favorite. For some, Spreety may replace the DVR and cable TV.

As a preferred directory, some Internet content does not appear, such as promotional clips or incomplete storylines. The goal with such editing is to provide a concise, quality experience for our members.

For advertisers, Spreety accepts ad placements via direct contact. For contact details, see the contact tab.

Thank you for visiting Spreety, and enjoy the shows!

How to Use Spreety TV Online

For the most part, just click the links for free full episodes and live stations. In some cases, when there was no suitable alternative, the links are to shorts, clips, and pay for sites. Those are labeled as follows:
  • pay: Content is pay for.
  • pay/free: Some content is pay for.
  • preview: The content is a preview for something that is soon to become available.
  • shorts: The content is meaningful, complete segments of 2 - 10 minutes.
  • clips: The content is a subset of a segment, usually less than 2 minutes.
  • clip/full: Sometimes the content is clips, and other times the content is full episodes.
  • loop: The content is a series of shorts, played in a repeating loop.
  • podcast: The content may require a complete download before playback.
  • netflix: The content is available online via Netflix's "Watch Instantly" (owner account required).
  • subscribe: The content is available if you have a subscription elsewhere.

Online TV Troubleshooting

  • Spreety pops-up the shows in a new browser window. If nothing pops-up, please check the browser's pop-up blocker.
  • The recommended Internet connection speed is 3 Mbps or higher. With less, there may be slow load times.
  • Most machines purchased since 2007 are fast enough to play online TV. Multi-core processors, like dual-core, are particularly effective.
  • If the web browser window comes up and nothing plays, check to see if there is a prompt for a new version of the player software (i.e. Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight) and install.
  • If the web browser window comes up and nothing plays, and there is no prompt for an install, sometimes a simple refresh the browser window will do the trick.
  • If the playback renders with small square shaped artifacts, consider upgrading the video card or running at a lower resolution (i.e. 1280x1024).
  • If there are 30 to 45 second pauses in the middle of a movie, it might be due to the wireless Internet router, hub, etc. overheating, and subsequently resetting. To prevent, move such devices into well ventilated areas.

Additional Tips

  • The links to iTunes require that iTunes be installed.
  • The links to the Netflix content require that the login to Netflix be set to the "Owner" account.
  • You may add or remove favorites with Favorites.
  • To add multiple items to favorites, add the first one, then use the browser's "Back" button, and add the second, etc.
