Secret agent extraordinaire Aeon Flux was introduced to MTV viewers in 1991 in a series of short animated films that appeared during the MTV series Liquid Television. The character quickly reached cult status and, in 1995, MTV aired half-hour episodes of Aeon Flux as a stand-alone series.
