Accuracy in Media; AIM n. A US organization founded
in 1969 by Reed Irvine to act as a “watchdog of the news media that critiques
botched and bungled news stories and sets the record straight on important
issues that have received slanted coverage.” AIM tends towards a politically
conservative, traditional values philosophy in counterpoint to the perceived
liberal bias of the majority of the US news media. The AIM Web site is
