Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films n. A not-for-profit organization founded
in 1972 by Dr. Donald A. Reed, who also founded the Count Dracula Society in
1962, and several fellow USC (University of Southern California) students to
recognize excellence in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror
filmed-entertainment genres. The Academy presents the annual Saturn Awards. The
