A co-founder of Spreety TV Online, Ron Laughton shares his perspectives of watching TV online. The highlights:

• Ron unplugged cable TV in 2007, and it was a simple economic decision: he just didn't feel it was worth $70 a month.
• His kids are accustomed to anytime, anywhere online TV. At grandma's, after referencing a guide to find the time a show will be on a channel, the subsequent attempts to explain that the show is not available at this time are challenging, since his kids don't understand the old ways.
• Movie night at a friend's house is now via streaming online. A few years ago, that would have been a trip to Blockbuster to wait in line to rent a DVD.
• With all that is good in online TV, there a few things missed with the old TV.
